Кодирование временной информации в естественном языке: обзор новейших исследований

Аннотация. Данный обзор знакомит читателя с той областью семантики, которая нечасто обсуждается в работах по философии языка. Конкретно, речь идет о тех механизмах, с помощью которых в естественных языках кодируется информация о времени. Философия языка традиционно уделяет основное внимание проблемам обозначения индивидных объектов, а также экспликации так называемых интенсиональных контекстов. Между тем референция к моментам времени не только воспроизводит ключевые проблемы референции к индивидным объектам в экстенсиональных и интенсиональных контекстах, но и раскрывает новые аспекты того, как может быть выражена эта референция в структуре языка и, следовательно, в структуре мысли, понимаемой во фрегеанском ключе как умопостигаемое объективное содержание. Обзор знакомит читателя с этой проблематикой, доступным образом вводя его в темы, обсуждаемые в новейших исследованиях, представленных на ведущих конференциях по семантике в 2019-м и 2020-м гг. В обзоре рассматриваются проблемы семантики временных морфем, глагольного вида, аспектов лексического содержания глаголов, а также такие более знакомые философам вопросы, как семантика определенных дескрипций в темпоральном измерении.
