«Ego-medium» as a phenomenon of the technogenic civilization
Abstract. According to the theory of technogenic civilization, technology and its intensive development play a decisive role in contemporary social life. The logic of technogenic civilization development leads the world to the possibility of posthuman transformations. “Ego-medium” is a modern information closure of individuals on themselves. “Ego-medium” is a modern manifestation of the information-virtual vector, in which the posthuman development of technogenic civilization proceeds. In the focus of the ultimate ideas about virtual reality, the theory of “ego-medium” indicates that technogenic civilization has taken another step towards the formation of posthuman realities. The theory of “ego-medium” sets another positive basis for the formation of post-technogenic civilization. The author bases his analysis of the problem of “ego-medium” on the method of interpretation and reconstruction of philosophical views, the system approach, the method of ascent from the abstract to the concrete, and the scenario approach.
