Abstract. This paper attempts to draw the atten­tion of the sci­en­tif­ic com­mu­ni­ty to the prob­lem of dig­i­tal­iza­tion of edu­ca­tion from a broad inter­dis­ci­pli­nary – philo­soph­i­cal and psy­cho­log­i­cal – per­spec­tive. The author relies on the results of psy­cho­log­i­cal empir­i­cal and exper­i­men­tal stud­ies with­in the eth­no-func­tion­al par­a­digm in psy­chol­o­gy and the philo­soph­i­cal-anthro­po­log­i­cal con­cept of syn­the­sis of chaos and cos­mos in the subject’s men­tal­i­ty. The author con­cludes that the intro­duc­tion of dig­i­ti­za­tion into the Russ­ian edu­ca­tion sys­tem is undu­ly hasty and unrea-son­able in sci­en­tif­ic terms.
